Visitors

He Tipu hosted 60+ visitors as part of the Indigenous Research and Global Alliance Network.

We shared our kaupapa on the use of Maramataka and indigenous soil regeneration.

We also spoke about what climate change indicators we use from a matauranga Māori approach. Finally we talked about our goal to have the largest seed bank of native and heritage plant seeds.

The day was cool so we prepared a hot rongoa tea for them all made from a kawakawa leaf, slice or lemon and a teaspoon of high grade manuka honey.
